About this panel

The Child Development Panel brings together tests that doctors frequently order when monitoring growth and development. A complete blood count, blood sugar and insulin, the cholesterol profile, liver, kidney and pancreatic function, protein and albumin, and electrolytes are tested together.

Iron stores, vitamins D and B12, folic acid, zinc, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium show nutritional status; thyroid hormones and antibodies show thyroid function. The panel also includes total IgE, CRP, a complete urinalysis and a stool test for parasites. The results need to be evaluated by your child's doctor according to your child's age.
