Insurance and paymentAbout this panel
The Diabetes and Metabolism Panel helps monitor sugar metabolism and diabetes-related risk factors. Fasting blood sugar shows the current situation, HbA1c the average over the last three months, and fasting insulin the insulin response.
The panel also includes total, HDL and LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, and creatinine for kidney function. In diabetes follow-up, it can be repeated at the intervals your doctor recommends; it is recommended that you review your results with your doctor.
