About this panel

The Men's Hormone Panel brings together tests that help assess hormone balance in men. Total and free testosterone, FSH and LH, prolactin, estradiol and TSH are tested together.

The panel also includes total and free PSA. Because testosterone levels vary with the time of day, it is recommended that the sample be taken in the morning. It is recommended that you review your results with your doctor.

Frequently asked questions

Testosterone levels change during the day and are higher in the morning. For the results to be interpreted correctly, it is recommended that the sample be taken in the morning.
In the 48 hours before the test, cycling, sexual intercourse and procedures that affect the prostate can temporarily raise your PSA level. If possible, avoid these.
Your results are sent to you when they are ready; you can also view them in the Test Results section of our website with your Turkish ID number (T.C. kimlik no) and phone number. It is recommended that you review your results with your doctor.

Panels are for screening and do not provide a diagnosis; your results should be reviewed with your doctor. If you have symptoms or need regular monitoring, tests are chosen on your doctor's advice.
