Insurance and paymentAbout this panel
Premarital screening helps couples learn about their blood groups, whether they carry inherited blood disorders, and certain infectious diseases.
The panel includes blood group, a complete blood count, hemoglobin electrophoresis (for carrier status of inherited blood disorders such as thalassemia), HBsAg, Anti-HCV, Anti-HIV and p24 antigen, and VDRL. The panel is per person; a separate sample is taken from each partner. It is recommended that you review your results with your doctor.
