Insurance and paymentAbout this panel
The Women's Hormone Panel brings together the hormone tests that doctors frequently order for irregular periods and during menopause. Estradiol, FSH, LH, prolactin and progesterone show reproductive hormones; DHEA-SO4 and total and free testosterone show androgen levels; and morning cortisol and TSH show other aspects of hormone balance.
The panel also includes fasting blood sugar and insulin, the cholesterol profile, calcium and vitamin D; during menopause, these tests are also important for metabolism and bone health. It is recommended that you review your results with your doctor.
