Insurance and paymentAbout this panel
The Coagulation Monitoring Panel brings together the tests that doctors order for people taking blood-thinning medication and in situations where the clotting system needs to be monitored.
The panel includes PT (INR), aPTT, fibrinogen, D-dimer and a complete blood count. INR monitoring is a test that needs to be done regularly; having the sample taken at home is especially convenient for patients with limited mobility. Only your doctor should change your medication dose based on the results.
