Lab Tests and Laboratory Testing at Home

Our experienced nurses collect the samples for your blood, urine, stool and swab tests at your home or workplace. Below you can find out what each of our 113 tests is, when it is ordered and how to prepare for it. We work with private health insurers: we obtain the pre-approval and collect your sample once approval is received; we do not charge a co-payment.

Hormones

Tests that measure thyroid, reproductive, stress and metabolic hormones: TSH, free T3 and T4, FSH, LH, prolactin, cortisol, insulin and more.

Anti-Thyroglobulin Antibody (Anti-TG) Antibody test that investigates autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto's Beta-hCG (Pregnancy Hormone) Test that detects pregnancy early by measuring the hCG hormone in the blood C-Peptide Blood test that shows the pancreas's own insulin production DHEA-SO4 (DHEA-S) Hormone test that shows androgen production by the adrenal glands Estradiol (E2) Measures the main estrogen hormone, which reflects ovarian function FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) Measures the pituitary hormone that controls ovarian and testicular function Insulin (Fasting) Metabolic test that measures the insulin level in the blood on an empty stomach Insulin (Postprandial) Blood test that shows how much insulin is secreted after a meal Intact PTH (Parathyroid Hormone) Measures the parathyroid hormone that governs calcium and phosphorus balance Cortisol (Evening) Test that evaluates cortisol's evening decline and daily rhythm Cortisol (Morning) Measures cortisol in the morning hours, when its level is highest LH (Luteinizing Hormone) Measures the hormone that triggers ovulation and testosterone production Progesterone A test that assesses whether ovulation has occurred and evaluates early pregnancy Prolactin (PRL) Measures the pituitary hormone that affects milk production and the reproductive system Free T3 (FT3) Measures the free circulating portion of T3, the most active thyroid hormone Free T4 (FT4) Measures the portion of the thyroid gland's main hormone that can reach the tissues Free Testosterone Measures the active portion of testosterone that is not bound to proteins Thyroglobulin (TG) Protein test used in follow-up after thyroid cancer treatment Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody (Anti-TPO) Antibody test that points to autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto's Total IgE (Immunoglobulin E) Allergy tendency test that measures the total IgE antibody in the blood Total T3 (Triiodothyronine) Measures the total of bound and free T3 hormone in the blood Total T4 (Thyroxine) Measures the total amount of bound and free thyroxine hormone in the blood Total Testosterone Basic test measuring the sum of bound and free testosterone in the blood TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone) First-line hormone test for assessing how the thyroid gland is working

Hematology

Tumor Markers

Markers such as PSA, CEA, CA 125, CA 15-3, CA 19-9 and AFP that physicians use for follow-up after a diagnosis. They do not establish a diagnosis on their own; results are evaluated together with a physician.
